CAMDEN LABOUR: NO CONTROL OVER DEVELOPERS
With Camden Labour’s plan to redevelop the O2 Centre into 1,800 flats, we are living in fear of what is to come.
The road traffic management plans which were part of the planning permission for construction of 156 West End Lane and Liddell Road, are being ignored by the developers and Camden Council are not enforcing any of it.
Imagine what it will be like when they start on the O2 site - 18 years of chaos!
The traffic chaos on West End Lane, outside the Travis Perkins site is a daily horror. The regulations are not enforced at all.
Residents in the Maygrove Road area have their lives blighted daily.
■ Deliveries arrive 40 minutes before they are expected, causing traffic bedlam.
■ Timed deliveries ignored. Roads blocked many days a week. This is the regular chaos of an un-monitored road traffic management plan.
■ Camden removed parking bays on the north & south side of Maygrove Road. This lead to residents being unable to park for 5 days.
