Brent to impose draconian traffic restrictions in Brondesbury & Queens Park

Brent to impose draconian traffic restrictions in Brondesbury & Queens Park

Brent Council is proposing to close several roads in Brondesbury Park and Queen’s Park, which will increase congestion and emissions.

The proposed changes would be wide-ranging and impact a lot of local residents and businesses by blocking the roads below:

1.Chevening Road
2.Hanover Road
3.Kingswood Avenue
4.Mount Pleasant Road
5.Tiverton Road
6.The Avenue

And guess what: these plans are being pushed through without consultation – NONE of us has been asked for our views and we live here!

Brondesbury Labour councillors have sadly done nothing to represent the views of local residents, so Brondesbury Park Conservatives have set up the following survey so we can represent your views to Brent Council: www.bit.ly/QPRoadClosures

Brent Council is pushing this unprecedented new intrusion on local residents with no public consultation and using COVID as an excuse.

It is important to us for residents to be at the heart of any changes, especially as big as this. This has always been our approach as Brent Conservatives, and filling out our survey will help us stand up for you.
It is staggering that changes that impact every resident and every business are being bulldozed through without consultation. Have your say by filling in the survey at www.bit.ly/QPRoadClosures and forward it on to any neighbours or friends that would want a say as well.

Former Brent Councillors Joel Davidson and Alan Mendoza are working with GLA Conservative candidate, Molly Samuel Leport MBE to inform residents before Brent Labour impose this on our area
