In 2020, TfL reduced the northbound lane on Finchley Road to single lane traffic. It created traffic jams that backed up past Lords and inundated much of West Hampstead with traffic.
Only the massive response from local residents stopped this. And when Labour and Lib Dem councillors said nothing could be done, Camden Conservatives asked your views, listened, and led a campaign to make TfL listen to you too. Because we did, TfL removed the bottleneck.
